Interested in building community among leftist lawyers, organizers, community members, students, and professors in the New Haven area? Register for our first New Haven-wide Happy Hour here, and help us spread the word!
Law & Political Economy (LPE) is a network and approach that focuses on the role of law in creating & maintaining economic inequality and exploitation, racial and gender hierarchy, political alienation, and ecological injustice. The LPE Project is a national organization, based at Yale, that seeks to develop networks of students, lawyers, law professors, organizers, and community members to map where we have gone wrong and develop proposals for a more just, equal, and sustainable future. Our new Law and Organizing Initiative focuses specifically on the relationship between law and the work of organizing and movement-building.
Join us on the back patio at 116 Crown in New Haven, CT from 5-7 pm on October 25th, 2023 to mingle with the New Haven-wide LPE community.
In case of rain, an indoor option will be available—but if you’re not feeling well, please stay home! The back patio is accessible without stairs, but bathrooms require one step, and the indoor area requires three steps. Please email lpeproject@yale.edu with any questions.
