Please join The Antitrust Law and Economics Association and the LPE Society at Berkeley on Thursday, September 12th at 12:50-2pm PST for a talk with Professor Talha Syed. The discussion will explore: What is antitrust law? How can we use the tools of LPE to think about the field? No prior experience in antitrust is required!

Professor Syed will begin by outlining the main policy and doctrinal debates in antitrust law, with a focus on how various dominant economic policies have influenced these discussions. He then will turn to how these debates are playing out today in the realm of mergers and big tech. Finally, the event will open up to questions from participants.
